Zita created a nostalgic wedding story at Brides The Show, floating her design against an ethereal wall of sweet scented gypsophila. Soft clouds of the dainty white flowers also drifted across an archway of garlands laced with faded mauve vintage roses interwoven with textural grasses. In the blossom branches above the aisle songbirds perched in fragile cages, singing of love. Autumn featured with giant Italian chestnuts bursting from their prickly shells and plump cobnuts and berries threaded onto gilt mesh. Earthy rust tones mingled with the lush golds of fresh fruit and tinted glass adding to the palette. Zita’s floral centrepiece invited touch, almost surreal, sculpted from a heavenly mix of Amnesia roses, astilbe, astrantia, scabious seed heads, grasses, acacia baileyana and yet more gypsophila. Underfoot the crunch of pale caramel gravel married inside with out.
