Kew Flower Shop's 15th Anniversary

Kew Flower Shop's 15th Anniversary

We had a delightful celebration to mark our 15th anniversary last week with a party in our freshly redecorated flower shop in Kew. The new central table area and the corner window were dressed by students at the ZE Flower Academy with other areas styled by Zita and Lauren.

Bubbles, wine and Pimms were served together with delicious food from the new fusion restaurant next door. It feels like it was only yesterday that Zita launched her flower business. The shop was first set up as a landscape design venture, following her graduation with a Distinction from the Inchbald School of Design. She had also just won the prestigious Design and Decoration Award ‘Graduate Garden Designer of the Year 2003′.

Zita placed hand picked plant pots and vases of flowers left over from her various projects outside the shop to liven up the pavement. Passersby loved her distinctive floral choices and arrangements and their custom soon overwhelmed her, prompting her to open the corner flower shop. The garden landscaping business became secondary, a role which continues to this day. Read more of our history here.
