Design Academy student Kim Gyongmi’s advanced wedding project transports us to a colourful beach scene worthy of a tropical princess. Zita said, “Kim was such a delightful open minded student and I was very happy to see her progress with this bold and unusual design. Wishing you much success dear Kim!“
“The best thing about this class was that Zita taught me how to create a beautiful floral design by myself, from concept right through to the production. She also taught me how to tap into my inner inspiration and to find areas of creativity that I hadn’t even realised I already carried inside me,” said Kim.
“I just love Zita’s work, including her stunning floral embroidery. Her classes are well known because of her special approach and unique way of teaching, and that’s what I wanted to experience. And I knew in my heart that Zita’s class would be good for my career as a florist. I surprised myself in what I managed to create, and was moved by her detailed and dedicated teaching during the class, her ability to draw out my full potential. I’m going to miss her!“
Kim chose peppers as her key theme adding mixed chillies, roses, poppies, orchids, kalanchoe, craspedia, crocosmia, sarracenia mitchelliana, alchemilla, kniphofia and grasses. Read the full feature on Flowerona and visit Kim’s Instagram page to view her latest work.
