In part II of this special Advanced Wedding Design Master Class we look at the personal flowers created by Eunhee Lim and Su Jin Kim: bride and bridesmaid’s bouquets, buttonholes, floral headpieces and attendants’ dresses. Zita’s floral embroidery technique is expertly showcased by the students on Little Bevan‘s delightful Josephine dress, modelled by Ava, our flower girl from The Dreamcatchers.
Eunhee was inspired by feathers and Sujin was drawn to butterflies. Combining ideas, they shared a delicate image of a translucent wing as the starting point for their designs. These pure white almost diaphanous creations worked in perfect harmony with the ceremony decorations.
The exquisite vintage inspired bridal gown chosen by the students came from Katya Katya Shehurina: Skye, with a soft flowing tulle skirt complemented by a hand embellished Swarovski belt. This was modelled by Bora Ju, while Youngson Song stepped in as mother of the bride and Su Youn Park as bridesmaid.
See more of the bridal bouquets and the ceremony set up in Kew Gardens’ Nash Conservatory in Wedding Stories I. Look out for the reception images in our next blog!
