RHS London Floral Artist in Residence! 1200 1800 Zita Elze Flowers

“I’m absolutely thrilled to have been chosen as the Royal Horticultural Society’s London Floral Artist in Residence for 2018. I’ve always been a fan of their work, their gardens and their events. I qualified as a gardener before I was charmed into floristry and so it really is an honour to have been selected. I’m looking forward to creating some magical installations for the RHS this year!”

We’re busy preparing for the first event, the RHS Early Spring Plant Fair, 13-14 Feb:

“My installation in Lindley Hall celebrates the natural transition from winter into spring with a woodland inspired scene, veiled in the last soft snowfall of the passing season. Among the trees and surrounded by thousands of fresh snowdrops (Galanthus nivalis) a banqueting table awaits, dressed in white and sparkling with clear glass and the dainty blossoms of hundreds of snowbells (Leucojum Aestivum). This magical setting will glisten under a powdering of light snow and the luminous reflections of table name plates and menus cut into translucent Perspex flower shapes. This poetic vignette is designed to transport visitors into a world where nature shines in the pure glory of a fresh new year.”
