An innovative and inspiring course covering all aspects of floristry for beginners, distilled from Zita Elze’s extensive experience as a floral artist, designer and event organiser and delivered by her team of skilled tutors. Week by week, students develop their sense of creativity, personal style and technical ability. A résumé of the history of design launches the course together with an introduction to Zita’s distinctive vision. Students are then trained in basic floristry skills, subsequently learning more complex designs and techniques. They progress to work on pieces using Zita’s signature floral embroidery. Once these techniques have been mastered, students commence a full week which comprehensively covers all aspects of wedding design. This course is ideal for students wishing to open their own shop, or start or extend a career in floral design. Previous experience is not necessarily required. 5th Hand Tied Bouquet – Master Class with Zita Elze [Details]
Zita Elze’s technique for creating a spiral and/or vertical hand-tied bouquet is entirely personal and unlike any other. Rather than follow set rules, which tend to be formulaic and stifling, Zita’s unique methodology is inspired by emotions, encouraging a natural flow which is also informed by changing seasons and the availability of fresh materials. In this hugely popular and transformative class she reveals some of her secrets, immersing students in the fashioning of individual bouquets which are at once perfectly executed, breathtakingly beautiful and wonderfully expressive.
