Ferragamo’s Garden

Ferragamo’s Garden

Floral designer Tetê Castanha’s Concept and Design project draws its voluptuous colours, notably pink, orange and blush, from the visionary Salvatore Ferragamo’s works. Her flowing arrangements blend the essence of his designs and her own sunshine personality with her skills as an accomplished florist, all in the potent creative atmosphere of one of Zita’s most challenging and interesting master classes.

“I was interested to learn more about Zita’s techniques and design philosophy and the way in which she taps into emotion-based concepts in order to translate these into designs. This was my third course with Zita and I have very special feelings for the Academy, for her and for her teaching methods. I went through an indescribable moment of pure joy when I completed my project – it felt so completely me! I think that this unique and transformative experience, learning how to capture my emotions and express them in a floral design, as well as gaining the confidence to eliminate some preconceived ideas – which is most important – has really influenced and amplified my work back in Brazil. I truly loved this class!” Tetê Castanha, 2017

“This is the third time Tetê has come to the flower school in London and I absolutely adore her! She is such a lovely kind soul, and a very talented, strong and hardworking designer… a real pleasure to work with. We enjoyed a wonderful voyage of creative discovery together and I wish her every success in her career in the world of flowers. I also look forward to the next time that we meet!” Zita Elze
