We’re floating back to 2017 and to Taehee Kim’s final project for the Advanced Wedding Design Master Class. Kim was especially keen to enhance her floral styling skills for photo shoots, with a view to developing her career as a creative director. Her clear vision delivered a wedding set which was strong on concept, mood and aesthetics.

“I do not want to be a florist who just makes simple bunches of flowers. I want to create a special space, which flows with a mood and with flowers.”
“My inspiration was an image of a white dish with moss. I was interested in minimalism, the main concept being to ‘remove unnecessary things as much as possible’, so black and white and some ivory were my chosen colours. My main decorative flower was a white peony. Many brides want peonies for their wedding.”
