Brides magazine’s much anticipated Big Day wedding Lookbook is hot off the press in the July/August issue. Featuring all four seasons the lavish spreads have been photographed by Mel Yates against the regal backdrop of Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire.
Zita Elze’s detailed designs for an autumn 2014 wedding focus on peaches, burnt oranges and deep yellows accented with tinges of rich green and red. Bark vases, wrought-iron and pewter accessories, apples, viburnum berries, pumpkins, figs and a charger filled with delicious fruit made out of cake grace the scenes.
Bridal flower arrangements mix peonies, celosia, trailing jasmine, pincushion proteas, dahlias and full blown roses (David Austin, Juliet and O’Hara) with stipa, wheatgrass and dried poppy heads, all interspersed with autumn leaves.
